Project Information
This basic introductory project is based upon the Apple Computer campaign which was a very successful advertising campaign.
You will be making your own i-silhouette project based upon an aspect of your character or self-identity. You will select the character attribute, word, or saying from your DOTS chart. You will create the artwork in a vector format, intended for printing. |
Demonstrations
In class demonstrations on how to take a concept-related photograph, where to upload photograph, setting up document size, and refresher on creative software tools.
Project Creation
2 to 3 class periods from inception to completion is the expectation for this project. This is an introductory project and will not be as in-depth as our future course projects. Projects will be printed and presented/displayed in the hallway.
Project In-Progress Self-Evaluation
Complete this form when asked as a mid-point check on your work's progress. Artists and designers continually refine and alter their work based upon critique and discussion; this form will help you do just that. The form is in your comprehensive student learning portfolio.
Self-Reflection Essay
Complete the self-reflection essay in your comprehensive student learning portfolio. Answer each question with 2-3 sentences. The reflection requires you to think about what artistic behaviors you have mastered and what behaviors you have room for improvement with.
Grading & Rubric
Turn in your completed project by uploading it to the shared Google Drive folder. Each student has an individual folder to drop work into when completed and ready for grading.
