Summary of Learning:
Coverage Photography Advertising and Marketing We will complete lessons on Josten's Digital Classroom that will focus on marketing. Lessons will cover marketing topics and will include: establishing and marketing our identity, setting goals, and theme. |
During the first seven to ten weeks we will utilize Josten's Digital Classroom for much of our content. The first ten weeks of the yearbook/digital publications course is a critical time each year because this is when we develop as a team, develop how we will market ourselves, work through distribution of the last year's book, go through sales training and gather sponsorships, learn photo basics, layout basics, journalism basics, and also explore photojournalism. The remainder of the year is spent continuing study of photojournalism skills, more in-depth journalism skills, and covering assigned topics while meeting our publication deadlines.
